They really are looking like the United of old.
Manchester United have their mojo back, smashing Swansea 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium. Make that eight goals in two games without conceding. Jose Mourinho has them playing clinical cut-throat football and the United faithful love it!
Swansea almost scored an early goal through a swinging cross through Jordan Ayew. The further the game went on, the more United grew in stature.
The Red Devils broke the deadlock just before walking into the sheds for half time. Centre Back Eric Bailly has scored his first ever United goal after Swansea failed to clear the ball off the line.
Swansea began to put the pressure back on United, although it wasn’t enough to break down Matic and co. The former Chelsea midfielder dominated the midfield again, bringing key players into the game.
United scored three golazo’s in the final 10 minutes. Absolute domination. Lukaku sealed United’s second after finding himself alone and unmarked in the box.
Not long after, Paul Pogba scored a sublime chip over Polish keeper Łukasz Fabiański. And not long after that, substitute Anthony Martial scored off the bench again.
Is United the real deal or is it too early to tell?
