Is this even real?

Away days at Stoke just got that much harder. Stoke City have somehow snagged PSG striker Jese Rodriguez on a season-long loan.

Life for Rodriguez hasn’t been easy as of late. Rodriguez only scored two goals for PSG last season in 14 total appearances. The 24-year old is a remarkable talent, although has recently played on the fringes at Real Madrid and at current club Paris Saint-Germain.

His switch for Stoke could be exactly what he needs to regain form. It’s the signing that Stoke desperately needed, especially after all the money Premier League clubs have dropped on players this transfer window.

It’s likely Rodriguez will partner up with new signing Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting up front.

Stoke City chief executive Tony Scholes believes Rodriguez will be the perfect fit at The Britannia (bet365 Stadium).

“He hasn’t had the happiest of periods in his career in Paris but he’s still only a young man and is hungry to make a big impression in the Premier League.

“His pedigree speaks for itself and he will most certainly add to the firepower at our disposal.”

Stoke had no problem firing shots at departed star Marko Arnautović.
