WATCH: Burney puts the sword to reigning EPL champions Chelsea

An opening Saturday full of twists for the almost all of the top five, unless you’re Manchester City – and you’re well on your way to this years’ title.

But the worst of the lot was pegged at Chelsea, who seemed lacklustre under the rampant attack of Burnely. (Never though I’d write that)

In just 13 minutes, Chelsea skipped Gary Cahill was seeing red after a late tackle, allowing Burnley’s Sam Vokes to quickly hit the net twice before half-time, whilst Stephen Ward also opened his account for the season.

Alvaro Morata and David Luiz tried to pull in the lead with two goals in the second. But Cesc Fabregas’ second yellow, sent Chelsea down to 9 men and ruled the game over.
