NIKE have gone all out for the release of their latest football boot – Hypervenom 3.

An all star line-up of the world best strikers helped unveil the ‘striker specific’ kicks. The dream team included Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Edison Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain), Gonzalo Higuaín (Juventus, and Harry Kane (Tottenham).

The third edition of the Hypervenom series has taken a strong focus on ‘cut and strike’. The transition from it’s last edition sees a shift to Flyknit and the introduction of a new plate.

“This is a finisher’s boot,” explains Max Blau, VP of Nike Football Footwear.

“Every component of this boot was built for goals.”

NIKE’s sketch drawings break down the fundamentals that make up the new and improved boot. Multi-layered Poron® foam pods allow for a neat touch at low velocity, and also the power to hit the ball at incredible speeds. It’s also 17% lighter than the previous boot.

The one thing we love about this boot, is that it gives players the option to select either a high cut or low cut boot.

Hypervenom 3 will be available on January 30, 2017 in the Poison Green/Hyper Orange colorway.
