Following today’s announcement that Cristiano Ronaldo is the 2016 Ballon d’Or winner, Nike has followed toe to pay tribute to a stellar year from CR7 with a limited edition colourway of the Mercurial Superfly.

Titled the ‘CR7 Vitórias’, the boot is intended to capture a year to remember for Ronaldo which included lifting the UEFA European Championship cup with Portugal and the Champions League trophy with Real Madrid.

The “Vitórias” boot upper and its signature speed ribs feature a stylish Pure Platinum upper with a subtle blue metallic shine and an elegant fade from heel to toe. The Metallic Gold plate is a nod to the gold trophies Ronaldo won this year and the heel graphic reads “Vitórias,” Portuguese for victories. The CR7 logo and Swoosh are further highlighted by an iridescent shimmer.

If you like what you see, you’re gonna have to be prepared to fight for a pair of these bad boys as there are only 777 pairs to be released worldwide. The boot is set to drop in early 2017 at selected retailers.
