Zlatan Ibrahimovic won his 11th Swedish Player of the Year award tonight.

Former PSG team-mate David Beckham honoured the 35-year old striker with a tribute video at the awards night.

“You know he’s one of the greatest players to have played the game, said Beckham. It’s one of the reasons why I’m happy he’s now playing for Manchester United, my team so thanks.”

It’s been announced that a statue of Zlatan will be built in the capital of Sweden, Rosengard. Normally that sort of honour only comes once a player has passed away.
