Leicester City have continued their perfect Champions League run, defeating FC Porto 1-0 at King Power Stadium.
Claudio Ranieri’s record signing Islam Slimani came back to haunt FC Porto once again. He was even nicknamed the ‘dragon-slayer’ by former club Sporting Lisbon for his goals against rivals Porto. The Dragon symbol is symbolic for Porto, as it features on their club crest. The only man breathing fire has been Slimani, scoring six times in his last eight matches against Porto.
Slimani signed for £30million on transfer deadline day, and will be a major factor if Leicester are to turn around their poor Premier League start.
The Foxes sit on-top of their Champions League group with a five point gap from third placed Porto.
