Carlos Bacca scored a hat-trick in AC Milan’s 3-2 thriller over Torino last night.

The Colombian striker promised his son the match-ball and didn’t fail to deliver, scoring three goals within the first hour of play.

Transfer speculation has surrounded Bacca this month, rumoured to be on the move to West Ham United.

The 29 year old squashed those claims, vowing to stay loyal to AC Milan and make them great again.

“I wanted to remain because I promised I’d take Milan back into Europe,” Bacca told Sky Sport Italia.

Bacca admits that his family also played a large part in his decision. The Colombian has only been at Milan for a year and already looks settled in.

“When the intermediary presented the offer, I consulted with my family and decided to stay,” Bacca told Sky Sport Italia.

“It was the right thing for me to do.

“My son wanted the match ball and I’d promised to score him a hat-trick eventually, so I wanted to take the penalty and do it for him.” said Bacca.
