We may not be lucky enough to see the likes of Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli starring at the International Champions Cup. But Spurs legend Ledley King has named the young guns who he believes will surprise the world on the big stage.

The famous centre back, once famously described as a “freak” by Harry Redknapp; gave us three names of who he believes could light up the stage in Melbourne tonight.

They’re all really talented players but Josh Onomah is a really big, powerful lad. He’s only just turned 19 and has got a lot of potential. Also defender Cameron Carter-Vickers another one with huge potential, and also a young lad Marcus Edwards. Look out for them guys,” said King.

Let’s not forget Harry Kane – a product from Tottenham’s first class youth academy who now starts for England’s national team.

“It was only a few years ago that Harry was one of the young players on a pre-season tour. It just shows what can happen in the space of a few years,” said King.

“We’ve got some really talented young players. Hopefully they get the chance to show the fans, who might not have seen them play, what they’re all about. They will hopefully be the stars of the future for Spurs”.
