Since Adidas’ Speed of Light pack release on Tuesday, football and sneaker heads have been tripping over themselves find a pair of Adi’s first attempt at a football boot cross lifestyle shoe; the ACE 16+ PureControl UltraBoost.

Our Instagram feed has been jam-packed with flicks of the new UltraBoosts – and they do indeed look dope!
Based upon the designs of the new PureControl boot and merged with the UltraBoost sole, these kicks are fresh. But unfortunately, as we’ve seen across all of Adidas’ popular ranges, you’ve got to get in quick or they’re gone.

Within minutes, Adidas UK’s online store sold out of the Black colourway  of the shoe. The additional yellow colourway is also said to be produced in a limited number sporadically spread throughout the globe.

How do I get a pair?

For the moment – there’s no official word on whether these kicks will be available in Australia. Update: Adidas Australia has said that unfortunately these UltraBoost’s won’t be available in Australia – time to hit the net.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t search internationally. Pro Direct Soccer (UK) have a competition on their Facebook page and UniSport is encouraging sneakerheads to enter a sweepstake to buy a pair on their website.

Initially; we’d imagine that the PureControl UltraBoost will only be available in European markets as it appears there will be no US release of the shoes for the moment.

Like when the Nike Footacape Magista and Flyknit Magista’s dropped, it took a while for them to make it Down Under.
