It’s coming up fast to September and you know what that means! Another edition of FIFA is to hit the stores.

Already, EA Sports has hinted at shaking things up this year, introducing a new story mode, ‘The Journey’ which follows the rise of an English footballer named ‘Alex Hunter’.

Following along with Hunter (who has an uncanny resemblance to Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford), EA promises the new career mode will allow gamers to experience the highs and lows of being a Premier League footballer.

FIFA 17 will also mark a new-age of a Leo Messi-less cover in Australia. After featuring for the past several years, EA have chosen to ditch Messi and let gamers decided who they want to see on the FIFA17 cover.

Gamers can chose out of the four FIFA 17 ambassadors; Antony Martial, James Rodriguez, Eden Hazard or Marco Reus by simply voting online using their respective hashtag.
