The dynamic duo of Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy continues, as they both found the score sheet in their 2-1 friendly win against Turkey.

Despite Captain Wayne Rooney’s rise in form, could his time be up as the main man up front for the Three Lions?

England came out firing from the first whistle, as Dele Alli produced a cheeky nutmeg assist on Turkish Captain Mehmet Topal, to play Kane through for England’s first goal.

It only took Turkey 10 minutes to reply, and perhaps this was due to England’s complacency when in control.

A mistake from man of the match full back Danny Rose and goalkeeper Joe Hart saw Turkish attacker Hakan Calhanoglu tap the ball into an empty net.

The Turkey who showed all the pre-eminence at the start of the first half but it was to no avail.

An England corner saw a classic poachers effort from Leicester hero Jamie Vardy. The Englan corner found the head of Gary Cahill, who forced a failed attempt at clearance off the line from Ismail Koybasi. In the process he impeded his keeper and it was another Vardy party to seal the win for England.
