WEDNESDAY 27 JANUARY 2016
The Reds have scraped into the Capital One Cup Final after
defeating Stoke City 6-5 on penalties.
Stoke’s aggregate equalizer was a goal that shouldn’t have
been. Their counter attack proved to be deadly as Bojan hooked a cross in for
Arnautovic who finished with ease. He was almost a yard offside, but it wouldn’t
be cup football without controversy.
Liverpool Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet was the saviour tonight,
saving two penalties but Joe Allen was the hero.
Allen struck home the winning penalty to put Klopp’s men
into the League Cup Final.
Liverpool were second best today, but the reality of cup
football is that anything can happen. The Reds will play either Manchester City
or Everton in the final at Wembley next month.
NEYMARS NEW NIKE’S
TWO SIGNINGS THAT COULD BE A GAME CHANGER
It’s not every day you see a club signing a player that hasn’t
played since May last year, but Emmanuel Adebayor is an exception to the rule.

Palace which will see him play until the end of the season.
Palace sit dead middle, and are still a slight chance to finish
high enough for European qualification. A drop in form could also put them near
the bottom end of the table.
Adebayor will be wearing the number 25 shirt.
Andros Townsend could be the spark that fires Newcastle
United back into form. The young prospect hasn’t fulfilled his expected
potential at Tottenham Hotspur, failing to complete a full 90 minutes in over
If Newcastle can keep the 24 year old injury free, we could
finally see the young talent blossom into a star in the premier league.
