Arsenal will be frustrated, after failing to win their first game of the season at home last night.
Unlike most 0-0 draws, this game displayed
energy and excitement throughout the whole 90 minutes.
The Gunners were unlucky not to score
early, after another incorrect offside call denied Arsenal of the opener.
Santi Carzola’s ball found Aaron Ramsey who
scored a sublime finish after being played onside by Liverpool defender Martin
Both goalkeepers were the heroes, keeping their sides in the game. Petr Cech saved several definite
goal scoring opportunities which earned him some valuable points for happy Fantasy
Premier League players.
Mignolet was also a fortress to be reckoned
with in goals, saving a close range shot from Giroud.
Any team could have snatched the three
points today, although a draw was probably the correct result due to the
