An Egyptian lawyer has Sergio Ramos in his sights for ‘that tackle’ on Mo Salah in the past weekend’s Champions League final.
Lawyer Bassem Wahba has filed a suit worth $1.5 million in a mission to gain compensation “for the physical and psychological harm that Ramos gave Salah and the Egyptian people.”
Speaking on national TV, Wahba said that “Ramos intentionally injured Mo Salah and should be punished for his actions.”
It was a very tough night, but I’m a fighter. Despite the odds, I’m confident that I’ll be in Russia to make you all proud. Your love and support will give me the strength I need. pic.twitter.com/HTfKF4S70e

Meanwhile, Mo Salah faces a race against the clock to appear if he wants to play in Russia, with Liverpool’s physio ruling his shoulder injury will take 3 – 4 weeks to recover.
The bad news for Egyptians is that 3 weeks recovery would see him miss the first of their group matches, whilst four weeks would see him sidelined until after Egypt’s final group game.
