Australia’s campaign to the 2018 World Cup ramps-up now, with Bert van Marwijk naming his extended 32-man squad for Russia.
Notable mentions go out to Melbourne City striker Daniel Arzani who has been rewarded with (hopefully) his first Socceroos cap. He’s joined by Croatian born defender, Fran Karacic who is expected to add more defensive muscle to the squad.
The usuals are all included, no surprises there. Tim Cahill’s early exit from Melbourne City has paid off as he’ll be included for his fourth World Cup.
