He had the speed to be the fastest man on the planet, ever, but does Usain Bolt have what it takes to be a professional footballer?

A big Manchester United supporter (if you check out his insta feed), Bolt spent two days training with Borussia Dortmund earlier this year.

And whilst BVB coach Peter Stoger made it clear Bolt had a long way to go before he could even think about signing a professional deal, one of the Bundesliga’s own thinks Bolt’s got what it takes.

Bayern Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey told Bundesliga.com this week that his fellow countryman, “wants to do whatever it takes to become a pro – he really wants to make it happen.”

“I spoke to Bolt and he said that [training at BVB] was good,” Bailey said.

“You never know what the future brings. He’s a champion and became one as his coaches taught him well. If that happens again, I don’t see why not.”

Bolt told reporters that he’d be returning to Dortmund later in the year for a longer training stint with the club, but hasn’t revealed exactly when…
