Alexis Sanchez has finally made his move to Manchester signing the dotted line with the Red Devils. In a saga that can only be described as a good hard slap to the face for both Manchester City and Arsenal; Jose Mourinho has had the last laugh. All for a casual $287 million of course…
Sanchez will now earn a remarkable £450,000 a week – in a deal which over the four-years he’s contracted, will see him bank just over $183m AUD.
And in *un* surprising fashion, coming to United is a dream come true for Alexis.
“Since I was a young lad I’ve always said that my dream was to play for Manchester United, and I’m not just saying that because I’m here now and today it’s come true,” he told United’s website.
On his way out to make the deal happen is Henrikh Mkhitaryan who will replace Alexis at Arsenal. In a deal worth a significantly less (yet very respectable) £35 million – Mkhi too insists that it’s a “dream” to go to the Emirates.
