Renato Sanches, the guy who scored the winning goal in Portugal’s European Championship victory, played his first game in Swansea white overnight. Since announcing his season long loan from Bayern Munich to Wales, all concerned widely saw this stint in the Premier League as an opportunity to re-ignite his career.
But if first impressions are anything to go by, Swans fans weren’t impressed at all, taking to social media to give him a good old whack.

On the back of this straight fire from the internet, Swans manager Paul Clement through his support behind the young Portuguese star.
“Renato did some good things and some that were not so good,” Clement told the club website. “He is a player who will get better and better with us, the more he gets to know his team-mates, the system and the culture here.”
