In what surely has to be one of the shortest managerial reigns in the Premier League – Crystal Palace has reportedly swung the axe on their new manager, Frank De Boer, after just four games.
That’s right 4 games.
Sky Sports is reporting that Palace’s board were fed-up after seeing four dismal performances which saw no wins and no goals.
Whilst it’s definitely not the start Palace fans would’ve wanted, the nature of De Boer’s sacking had to be one of the most brash sackings in EPL history.
Chairman Steve Parish told fans via social media to get around the club and the management, just yesterday, writing; “people are frustrated, I’m frustrated, so are the management and players. We know we are better than this…”
Whilst there’s been no official confirmation from the club – this one seems pretty solid. Watch this space.
