Nike have been hustling this week dropping a heap of dope new kicks hitting the streets. Across all their major silos, including a new Flyknit trainer, the swoosh has upped its game.
Check the biggest kicks to ‘kick-on’ 😉 this week.
BEAMS x Engineered Garmets X Converse Chuck Taylor All Star
Outta-control subtitly from three staples of Japanese fashion. These limited two tone bone All Stars see them up to wrap the Hi and Lo’s in off-white leather and off white suede. By arranging these materials asymmetrical they are a unique shoe from any angle and sure a subtle way to set a look off. Oh and if you’re worried about Chucks comfort, they also have Nikes React cushioned sole. Well done you three. Japan only release so I’ll see you on that next Jetstar flight if you want e

Nike Flyknit Trainer
A wider release of the Flyknit Trainer this week is your chance to scoop the hottest drop of the year. The OG’s sold out in minutes when they had a pre-release a few weeks back, but finally patience has paid off. The OG Colourway will be dropping alongside the ‘Pale Grey’ (above) and ‘Bright Citron’ they are almost a lock to be sold out again. Don’t miss ‘em this time.

Nike Grand Volee
A new model from Nike sees its way onto shelves this week in the form of the crisp Nike Grand Volee. A low-cut leather wrapped sneaker inspired by the casual tennis sneaker that’s been hot for a few years now. The Swoosh branding is stitched into both sides and to set these off for spring, the inner lining is a lovely light shade of tan. I’d expect to see these busted out more as spring starts ramping up.

Nike KMTR 07 Premium
Nike are on a heater this week and the fourth pick is no exception. The Nike KMTR 07 positioned itself as a must have for techwear heads with it’s limited ACG model that dropped a few months back. A general releases of the ‘Komyuter’ will put it now into the hands of those not on the forefront of techwear. All-black ripstop nylon with touches of white on the heel’s bungee pull tabs which is used to secure and tighten the shoe. Certainly a unique way of lacing, but innovation in shoes is very exciting.

Nike Air Max 1 “Jewel”
Maybe Adidas missed the memo this week, but another Nike rounds out the 5 this week. The “Jewel” Air Max 1’s have dropped in some pretty weird colourways as of late, but a simple and accessible black and white colourway has so far escaped the releases. The metallic silver Swoosh on this model is a subtle addition to the all black upper. A classic silhouette so hard to go wrong with the Air Max 1’s.
