Liverpool have slapped down a third bid for Philippe Coutinho, this time worth £118m from FC Barcelona.
Earlier this morning, Sky Sports UK reported that Barca had made another play for the midfielder – but again to no avail, after Liverpool made it publicly known that he wasn’t going anywhere.

Last weekend the Red’s management declared, “the club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes.”
But for some reason – that didn’t stop Barcelona’s General Manager, Josep Segura blurting to the world that FCB were close to bringing Phil to Camp Nou.
This has gotta be the worst; on-going transfer saga ever.
