NikeID Vapormax Fade
The Nike Vapormax possesses one of the more unique shapes in recent memory but that hasn’t stopped the hype train from steadily carrying it forward. Premium colourways such as the NikeLab Oreo and Platinums have sold out instantly. Nike finally caught on and made the Vapormax available on NikeID this week. Customisable with four countries flags, the Fade pattern on the air sole pops it off to produce a slick, running shoe.

Pharrell x Adidas Tennis Hu
Pharrell and Adidas have gone a little crazy this week releasing 2 different sneakers with 14 different colourways. The Tennis Hu has 9 unique colourways and draws inspiration from Adidas’s current crop of sneakers but mostly is a modern take on the Stan Smith. The perforated mesh upper is complimented by colour accents on the tongue and rear tag. There are more colourful variations if you are so inclined.

Golf Le Fleur X Converse One Star
Spring here in Melbourne is mighty close and down here agree that this Winter was pretty tame. I’m feeling it so these are primo. We’re blessed with a drop of muted pastel One Star colourways thanks to the team at Tyler, The Creator and Golf Le Fleur and their collab with Converse. Comes four ways, lilac, mustard, light blue, or my personal pick, light pink. Hard to nail the Skate/Fashion hybrid, but here we are, looking at ‘em.

Nike Air Max 97
Personally, I’ve never been completely sold on the Air Max 97 despite their cult following. Too bulky, too dad. However, I never liked brussel sprouts as a kid either and tastes change. Re-released after an absentee Nike has teased these for some time but finally dropped 7 colourways this week in a very limited run. I’ve already seen these on the streets and I concede, they are fresh. The white is perfect for the upcoming spring.

New Balance Flimby 35th M1500FA
New Balance paid homage this week to its wonderful Northern England Factory in Flimby. Somehow this rarity in our global society, the UK factory still makes 28000 sneakers weekly for New Balance in their ‘Made in UK’ range. There are 4 models in this release but the 1500 in it’s muted blue, bone and white is the pick of the bunch.
