WATCH: Gareth Bale calls bullsh*** on transfer rumours

BALONEY!

Another new season, another trophy and yet another transfer rumour. The Welsh midfielder has been another Los Blancos star at the centre of attention in one of the craziest transfer windows ever!

Real Madrid knocked off Manchester United this morning to clinch their fourth Super Cup trophy. Bale was a danger-man up front, and unlucky not to put away one or two chances on goal.

Bale and Isco linked up nicely for Madrid’s second goal with a cheeky one two, eliminating any hope of a United come-back.

The 28 year old scored seven goals and assisted twice in the La Liga last season, arguably below average for his standards. Despite Bale’s transfer speculation to United, manager Zinedine Zidane’s decision to start Bale over Cristiano Ronaldo is an indication that he’s in Zizou’s long term plans.

Bale had the opportunity to silence the garbage media claims that he is off to Old Trafford.
