Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus captured painting Sao Paulo streets during World Cup

It’s amazing how quickly things can change. In just four years you can go from painting the streets of Brazil, to a £27 million Manchester City signing.

It’s been a roller-coaster ride for Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus. Just three years ago, a 17 year old Jesus painted Sao Paulo streets green and yellow for the 2014 World Cup.

The former Palmeiras forward took to Instagram to reveal his not so distant past.

Jesus scored seven goals and racked up four assists in just 10 appearances. Not bad for a 20 year old in a foreign country.

In just over 365 days, the pacey goalscorer will wear the famous Canarinho shirt. Jesus returned to the streets of Sao Paulo to have a kick and relive the good old days with old friends.

Jogando futebol no Peri 😂 @guilhermeee_silva10 tomou logo um rolinho 😅😅
