Manchester United within touching distance of 4th placed rivals Man City

What a turnaround! Manchester United can still qualify for Champions League. The Red Devils are closer than you think, a win placing them just one point behind neighborhood rivals Manchester City.

Jose Mourinho’s men downed relegation-bound Sunderland 3-0 at the Stadium of Light last night. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was once again on the score-sheet, marking his 28th goal for United. The lively manager continues to turn heads, selecting Luke Shaw after previously calling him out for not being good enough. Has the Portuguese manager reverted back to his usual mind tricks?

Champions League could be on the cards, and what a story it could turn out to be if they are fighting for fourth spot against rivals City on the final day.

In-form United face league leaders Chelsea in a weeks time, and could potentially cause a season changing upset. The Red Devils are currently unbeaten in 21 matches (W11 D10 L0).

It’s the 10th best unbeaten run in the history of the Premier League.
