This time it’s a war on Facebook as both sides raced to become the first football team to reach 100 million likes on Facebook.

Fearful of losing the Facebook war, Barcelona’s social media team took to Twitter to get in direct contact with their fans.
Despite all desperation, it wasn’t to be for the Catalans, falling short to Los Blancos with 99.8 million likes.
