Cristiano Ronaldo declares himself “ready” for Real Madrid return

Cristiano Ronaldo has told reporters he is ready to make his return for Real Madrid against Osasuna this weekend.

The Portuguese star has been absent from Madrid’s starting XI for two months, after injuring his knee in the Euro 2016 final for Portugal.

Los Blancos are off to a perfect start in the La Liga, scoring five goals in their first two games.

Spanish newspaper Marca reports that manager Zinedine Zidane will allow Ronaldo 60 minutes of game-time against Osasuna.

French striker Karim Benzema will also make his return this weekend, as he looks to put a drama filled off-season behind him.
