After months on the sidelines, injured stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema returned to training with the Real Madrid first team.
The 31 year old Portuguese star has been in rehabilitation for the last few months, recovering from a knee injury that saw his early exit from the Euro 2016 final against France. Benzema on the other hand, has been dealing with a sensitive injury to his hip/lower back. The star striker was absent from France’s Euro 2016 squad due to charges laid against him over a sex tape scandal involving team-mate Mathieu Valbuena.
Both stars looked refreshed and well up to speed in their first training session for Los Blancos.
