Turkish club Galatasaray has signed Kolbeinn Sigthorsson on a season loan deal, with clause to buy him on a permanent basis worth €3.8 million.
The 26 year old FC Nantes striker signed after a successful Euro 2016 campaign with Iceland. Sigthorsson made world headlines after scoring the crucial goal to knock England out of Euro 2016. He then went one better, scoring in their 5-2 loss to host nation France.
