CR7 fanboys listen up. You can now take selfies with Cristiano Ronaldo. 

The Portuguese star released his new smartphone application ‘Fans with a Cause’. The new innovation will allow fans to take a selfie with Ronaldo and help kids in need at the same time.

Fans will know that their $1.99 download will be donated to ‘Save the Children’. The non for profit worldwide organisation is dedicated to giving aid to children in need.

“I am thrilled to launch this app to engage with my fans in a new way,”

said Cristiano Ronaldo.

The first sportsman to break 200 million social media followers is a Global Artist Ambassador for Save the Children. The world football icon uses his fame to make a change, directing the focus back onto the children around the world who need saving. In the last year, Save the Children provided aid to 185 million children across 120 countries.
