Real Madrid have shown their interest in signing Bayern Munich star David Alaba for a third time, today, tabling a €65 million bid for his services.
Earlier in the transfer window, Madrid made an initial offer of €50 million to Bayern for Alaba, which was rejected. AS is reporting that Real Madrid still remain very keen to secure the Austrian International’s signature before the transfer window is out with a new bid estimated to be valued at €65m.
Both clubs are currently in New York City where they last night faced off in a International Champions Cup game. Real Madrid produced a 1 – 0 victory through a Danilo goal in the 79′ minute. Additionally, Alaba played a full ninety minutes for Bayern Munich.
Reports suggest that Bayern haven’t ruled out further discussions with Real Madrid for the transfer, but are said to be requesting that Pepe be included in the transfer.
This comes after Bayern allegedly requested Raphael Varane be transferred to Bayern as apart of the deal, but Real Madrid were refused. AS also suggests that Madrid is reluctant to consider transferring any players in their bid to sign Alaba.
