English Premier League side, West Ham United are reportedly in the running to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, according to Marca.
The word is Real Madrid are considering their options in off-loading the Colombian striker after he was repeatedly left on the sidelines throughout Madrid’s 2015/16 season. However, Real are demanding a €80 million transfer fee from any potential candidates, a stretch especially for West Ham.
Either way, Spanish outlets are reporting that West Ham is in the process of preparing an offer to try their luck at obtaining his signature. Although, Manchester United and Chelsea still appear as front-runners to sign Rodriguez.
Kante to Chelsea
N’Golo Kante has left Premier League champions Leicester City to go to Chelsea on a five-year contract estimated to be worth £30 million.
His departure comes to the disappointment off many City fans, after he played a key role in Leicester’s rise to the top of the Premier League. None more than, former Leicester player and football pundit, Gary Lineker who tweeted this;
