Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud says Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is keen on a move to the Gunners- in an interview with Sky Sports.
In this modern age of football, it’s evident that contract extensions mean nothing, as Leicester’s hero looks to make a shock move to Arsenal.
Named Football Writers’ player of the year, Vardy was a sharpshooter in front of goal this season scoring 24 Premier League goals.
His remarkable rise has generated interest from a number of clubs looking to pen his signature.
“I have been told that Jamie wants to join us and it’s very good news for us. I think we can be complimentary and that’s all I can say,” Giroud told Sky Sports News HQ.

Arsenal reportedly triggered Vardy’s release clause which states in his contract that he is entitled to a move to clubs playing in the Champions League for £22 million.
