Footballers around the globe have paid their tributes to boxing legend Muhammad Ali after he passed away yesterday at the age of 74.
Ali is known as one of the greatest sporting icons the world has ever seen. He’s an icon that has sparked motivation for athletes from all sporting codes, including football.
Muhammad Ali is a three time boxing World Heavyweight Champion, but his hardest fight wasn’t in the ring.
Ali fought Parkinson’s disease for 32 years. The world will never forget the moment he lifted the Olympic torch in 1996, overcoming the effects of his disease to lift the torch.
