Arsenal is close to signing Socceroo and Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic on a £7 million transfer, reports suggest.
Rogic’s recent form in the Scottish Premiership has caught the Gunner’s eye as they look to bolster their midfield stocks over the Summer transfer window.
Since returning in August 2015 from a groin injury that saw him sidelined since the 2014 World Cup, Rogic has scored ten goals for Celtic the past season.
The Sun reported earlier this month that Arsene Wenger was confident on making the signing of Rogic to replace Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini who have all departed Arsenal.
It’s unclear whether Brendan Rodgers signing as manager of Celtic will have any impact on the impending deal.
