The hosts have announced their official squad for Euro 2016, and it’s pretty damn good!

The French will be a force to be reckoned with at the Euro’s this year. Les Bleus announced their official squad for the tournament, and quite frankly it’s beast! Unlike many host nations that bottle under pressure in major tournaments, the French boast a quality track record. At home, the French have won the 1984 Euros and the 1998 World Cup.

There really isn’t a better opportunity for manager Didier Deschamps  to manage his nation to glory.

From the back to the front, the French team has incredible depth. Martial, Payet and Griezmann will cause all sorts of problems for their opponents.

In the midfield, EPL winner Kante, Serie A winner Pogba and French League 1 winner Diarra all feature. Veterans defenders, Evra and Sagna both made the cut, and will provide experience and knowledge to the youngsters.

One man who was remarkably left out of the squad was Hatem ben Arfa. He has had the season of his life, scoring 17 goals for French club Nice. With Benzema banned, why would Deschamps choose out of form Arsenal striker Giroud instead of Arfa?
