GOOD WEEKENDS: Sweet enough to make your mouth water

In England, after re-iterating their dominance against Everton, Champions Leicester City play Chelsea, and will be looking to prove their title worthiness against last season’s champions; a match of ultimate bragging rights. Manchester United are on the cusp of a top four place as they play Bournemouth, but a win is not enough, as Swansea City must upset Manchester City in what should be a dynamite conclusion to a fantastic season, full of drama and excitement, and one for the ages.

In the Championship, the play-off’s are on. After a riveting loss against Middlesbrough, Brighton are looking to pick themselves back up against a tricky Sheffield Wednesday. Derby County play Hull City, in what should be a fireworks display, as the door to England’s top flight remains slightly ajar.

In La Liga, the race is on between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Los Blancos, with one final surge, face Deportivo, the Catalans, re-capturing that golden silk, look to take the title against Granada.

In Canberra, Smith’s alternative bookshop will be hosting comedian Thao Thanh Cao’s Appropriately Inappropriate, so if you’re after a bit of a laugh from cleverly dry humour, definitely check out out.

In Sydney, The great Louis Armstrong’s grandson Herb Armstrong will be bringing some gorgeous Jazz this weekend at Colbourne Avenue for that true New Orleans vibe.
