Reds march on to Europa League final

Liverpool have turned around a 1-0 first leg deficit against Villarreal to secure a place in the Europa League final against Spanish side Sevilla.

The win has prevented an all Spanish Final for Europa League and Champions League this year.

Jurgen Klopp’s side came out firing in front of a full house of passionate Reds fans at Anfield.

Liverpool’s attacking pressure forced an own goal from Bruno Soriano to put the Reds up early.

Daniel Sturridge was playing like a man possessed. His hard work up front paid off when he beat Villarreal’s offside trap to put Liverpool up 2-0 in the 63rd minute (2-1).

Lallana sealed the third and final goal for the Reds, placing them in a final with Sevilla

Klopp has brought Anfield and the Kop back to life. The stadium was a booming cauldron in a sea of Red.

Since his arrival, Klopp has rejuvenated the careers of out of form players Roberto Firmino and Dejan Lovren and Lallana.

Klopp and Liverpool really do go hand in hand, his presence on the field is full of energy and the fans feed off it.

Today’s victory marks Liverpools 200th win in European Cup competitions and their first European final since the 2006-07 Champions League Final.
