In one of the tightest title races ever, three teams are deadlocked on points at the top of the English Championship table.

With two games remaining, Burnley F.C, Middlesbrough FC and Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. all sit on 87 points, with only three goals separating trio.

On paper, Brighton are the favourite to finish first winning the last five games in a row. With that being said, Middlesbrough and Burnley haven’t lost in their last five games either.

If Middlesbrough win the title, there could be a possibility of a play-off before the actual play-off’s.

Burnley and Brighton could potentially finish on equal points and goal difference.

In an article by Sky Sports, analysts have worked out that their is a possibility both sides could be stuck on the same goa difference and goals scored against each-other. This would result in a play-off for second place promotion, in one of the most unusual circumstances ever.

We have made our own prediction with Brighton to finish in second behind Burnley.
