Paul Pogba showed off Adidas’s new pair of kicks this week and they are boss!
The new laceless blue boots are an extension to the ACE 16+ Primeknit pack.
Pogba signed a (€40 million) ten year contract with Adidas this month and will represent the three striped brand at the UEFA European Championships in June.
The timing couldn’t be any more perfect, with France hosting the historic tournament which kicks off against Romania at Stade de France.
The boots have been a massive hit for some of the worlds biggest player. One in particular is Arsenal midfield maestro Mesut Ozil. The German has been waiting a lifetime for Adidas to release the long awaited laceless boots.
I have a pair of these and I can tell you first hand, that they will leave your opponent behind in the dust. It takes a few sessions to wear in, but once you do, the boot fits to your foot like a glove.
For the first time, Primeknit covers the whole upper of the boot for total 360 degree control allowing players to boss everyone, with every touch, every part of the boot. The 3D knit structure gives unparalleled fit and grip. Specially engineered knit zones across the upper combine loose and tight formed knits to fit snugly to the unique shape of a player’s foot, enabling perfect ball control.
The brand new internal knit support system extends up to the ankle collar for a sock-like fit that streamlines the boot’s connection to the foot, so players can boss the field with confidence. The enhanced sprint frame construction delivers the perfect balance and control, on and off the ball, while an enlarged heel pocket adds to the next-level comfort of the ACE 16.1 PRIMEKNIT.
