THURSDAY 21 JANUARY 2016
21 Year old Australian Brad Smith is starting to make a name
for himself for Liverpool FC.
Smith played a major part in The Reds 3-0 win this morning
against Exeter City, assisting Joe Allen for the first goal of the game.
The left back is full of brains, and has been praised by his
fellow counterparts for his killer passes and attacking runs.
His vision to find Benteke before making a darting run in-between
two players to square up Allen was phenominal.
It’s a skill that separates the good left backs from the
great left backs.
You know you are doing well when one of Liverpool’s best
defenders in the last decade gives you a big wrap.
There is no doubt Manager Jurgen Klopp’s first choice is Spaniard
Alberto Moreno, but Smith has definitely made his mark.
ADIDAS IN VISIONARY LACELESS BOOTS?
Adidas have gone the unthinkable and brought in a range of lace-less
boots. ACE16+ purecontrol possesses innovative technology which provides a
glove like fit.
Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil loves them.
‘my whole career I have tried to minimize the impact of
laces on my strike and ball control,’ describes football player mesut
ozil. ‘I revealed to adidas in 2014 that in the changing room I knot the
laces over and over again and then tuck in the ends, that way they do not
interfere with my touch. when they came to me last year with the laceless
boots, it was like they have created my dream product. I cannot wait to wear
them on the pitch.’
‘we worked with some of the best designers in the business
to produce a boot that is innovative and game-changing,’ resumes hand. ‘laceless
is the future of football and a hallmark of adidas as a brand – leaders in innovation and design. most importantly, it will allow our
players to control the game better than ever before.’
