Recent revelations have revealed that discredited former
FIFA president Sepp Blatter is still receiving his salary.

Blatter was banned from football entirely for eight years,
after multiple ethics violations and corruption.

Andreas Bantel- Fifa’s Audit and Compliance Committee has
made a bold statement, saying Sepp will continue to get paid until a new president
is elected on February 26th.

FIFA have not disclosed the amount that Blatter is receiving,
but what has been revealed is that they made their first loss since 2001.

Carlisle United fans are preparing for an emotional return
to their home at Brunton Park after Storm Desmond left their pitch 6 feet

49 days later and the damage has already been done. The pitch
needed a full relaying, and to make matters worse it was during the middle of
winter. At times of need, people come together and that’s what these fans did
to get their stadium up and running again.

The Club’s finance director Suzanne Kidd explained how much
this means to the community.

“Saturday will be quite emotional. You get a bit choked up
just thinking about it. The floods are something that you hope never, ever,
happens again but being part of it all has created something special around
here. We’ve all come out of it a bit closer to each other. The players all
wanted to get out and help people in the local community.”
