Often, the hype on Besart Berisha and Fahid Ben Khalfallah overshadows the brilliance of Brazilian Gui Finkler.

The attacking midfielder has been at the heart of Melbourne Victory’s success in the last three years and obtains a unique talent from the set piece.

Last night was no different, as Finkler scored a brace for the boys in blue, securing a 2-1 win over Central Coast Mariners.

Victory’s first goal came from a beautiful combination of link up play between youngster George Howard, Ollie Bozanic and Gui Finkler to sweetly finesse the ball into the keepers bottom left.

The second was pure individual genius as Finkler scored a 25-yard free kick like it was a piece of cake.

Roy O’Donovan’s tackle on Leigh Broxham could have been career ending, after he flew in studs up at Broxham’s ankle. Luckily, Broxham was okay from the challenge that should have been a red card to Donovan.

Turkish side Antalyaspor has confirmed that they have been given the thumbs up to sign former Juventus legend Andrea Pirlo and Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho.

Pirlo played in every game but one since his arrival in July, and could make the move over the winter break.

The 36 year old midfield genius still plays a major role in the Italian national side, and could use this move to stay fit during the MLS offseason.

As for Ronaldinho, he is a free agent after Fluminese terminated his contract. We still can’t believe they did that!

Young Brazilian superstar Neymar could be on the way out of Barcelona due to ongoing tax issues.

How do we know this? His dad.

“We are not thinking of leaving Spain but we have a problem. We’ve never experienced such major tax issues.

“I don’t want to use the word persecution, but if the working environment here is not good, we won’t be able to remain in Spain and will have to leave the country.”

The current rumours for Neymar’s departure to Manchester United is growing, as his father adds fuel to the fire.
