Adelaide was humiliated in their 4-2 loss to Melbourne City
on home turf at Hindmarsh stadium.

The game could have been completely different if marquee
shot stopper Thomas Sørensen hadn’t saved Bruce Djite’s close range shot.
City fired home early, as Aaron Mooy curled a beautiful corner
finding the head of Erik Paartaalu, who sent the ball in at the near post.
The Socceroo international was once again proving to be the
difference on the park. Mooy’s powerful shot at the half hour mark cannoned off
the crossbar twice before going in.
Bruno Fornaroli then got in on the action, turning two
