MONDAY 05 OCTOBER 2015

Brendan Rodgers has been sacked as manager of Liverpool FC,
an hour after their 1-1 draw in the Merseyside derby.

Rodgers fate was inevitable due to his failure to produce
consistent wins for the Reds. Liverpool’s poor run of form leaves them in 10th
place after only winning one game from the last nine.

The Northern Irishman was notified over the phone by FSG
President Mike Gordon, followed by a face to face chat with club Chief
Executive Ian Ayre.

The rumors have begun as to which man will take over, with
the two frontrunners Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti leading the pack.

Who should get the gig?

SANCHEZ’S SUPER SUNDAY

Alexis Sanchez treated fans all around the world scoring two
world class goals against Manchester United last night.

Arsenal capitalized on a Manchester side which looked half
asleep early. The gunners scored two goals in two minutes, Sanchez in the 6th
and Mesut Ozil scoring a minute later.

The stats told the story in this game; you can have all the possession
in the world but will still lose if you don’t create the opportunities up
front.

Arsenal’s speed on the counter attack was ruthless, and exposed
Manchester United’s defenders. Sanchez had right back Darmian shell-shocked and
two often was Ashley Young caught out in unknown territory in defense.

The gunners closed the match in the first 20 minutes, after
Sanchez took on two players before sending a bullet into the top corner from
the edge of the box.

The Gunners now sit in second place, two points behind
Manchester City after eight games.
