Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea should be on a
plane to Spain, but will stay put in Manchester for another four months after
his transfer to Real Madrid fell through.
Social media platforms have been bombarded with reports and
rumors, which declared the signing of De Gea to Real Madrid, although we can
now confirm that is not true.
Reports coming out of Spain suggest that United were one
minute late, handing in their paperwork to the Spanish Football Federation.
Real Madrid is set to appeal denied deal to the governing
body of FIFA. Spanish media has claimed that this could be revenge for United’s
failure to sign Sergio Ramos.
If the appeal is successful, Keylor Navas will be on his way
to United as planned.
If things stay as they are, Red Devils Manager Louis van
Gaal has said he will not consider the De Gea’s selection until the transfer
window is closed.
