Arsenal will be frustrated, after failing to win their first game of the season at home last night.

Unlike most 0-0 draws, this game displayed
energy and excitement throughout the whole 90 minutes.

The Gunners were unlucky not to score
early, after another incorrect offside call denied Arsenal of the opener.

Santi Carzola’s ball found Aaron Ramsey who
scored a sublime finish after being played onside by Liverpool defender Martin
Skrtel.

Both goalkeepers were the heroes, keeping their sides in the game. Petr Cech saved several definite
goal scoring opportunities which earned him some valuable points for happy Fantasy
Premier League players.

Mignolet was also a fortress to be reckoned
with in goals, saving a close range shot from Giroud.

Any team could have snatched the three
points today, although a draw was probably the correct result due to the
striker’s inaccuracy.

BEST GOALS FROM THE WEEKEND

We had a weekend filled with world class strikes, which is why you needed to see this!

Sheffield
Wednesday forward Marco Matias produced this piece of brilliance at Elland
Road.

Kaizer Chiefs
midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala loves scoring at Soccer City’s FNB Stadium. His goal this weekend emulated the amazing goal he scored for South Africa in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Goal of the year?

Portugese winger Quaresma has definitely had his fair share of gigs with the best teams in the world. Despite his talent, he failed to perform for Inter Milan, Chelsea and FC Barcelona. The 31 year old now plays for Besiktas in Turkey. He scored this absolute stunner, showing he has still got it.

Sebastian
Giovinco is dominating in the MLS, and proves his free kick is still one of the deadliest in the world.
