MONDAY 24 AUGUST 2015
Chelsea’s latest Spanish recruit, Pedro Rodriguez, started off his career at Stamford Bridge with a bang this morning. Twenty minutes was all it took for Pedro to open his goal-scoring account, a nice shimmy left and right before sliding the ball through into goal.
The Spaniard’s inspired performance catalysed a return to the Chelsea of old; Diego Costa and César Azpilicueta all contributing to the goal sheet which saw the Blues emerge victors 3 -2.
But it wasn’t without some drama courtesy of John Terry who earned himself a Red card for bringing down West Brom’s Salomón Rondón on the edge of the box.
However all things being said, Mourhinio’s big blue bus looks like it’s back on the road after a shaky Premier League start.
Magic of the FFA Cup
The kids at COPA90 produced this brilliant documentary on the journey of Biggleswade United and their attempt to challenge in the English FA Cup. Have a geez.
