To Russia with Love

Whilst the controversy of Qatar’s 2022 World Cup wages on, Russia who won the hosting rights for the 2018 Cup is getting down to business in preparing the country for the Cup in four years time.

Images have emerged of the stunning venues planned for the 2018 World Cup to be built across the country. FIFA has already declaring the building process ‘ahead of schedule’, unlike the Brazilian stadiums which weren’t completed until hours before kick-off in some cases.

However, this stunning architecture comes at a cost. It’s estimate Russia will spend over 30 million euros (43 million AUD), costing a whopping $11,500 per seat built in each stadium!

As these beautiful stadiums begin to come together, you can’t help but get a little excited for what Russia has coming in four years time!
